Certification is only valuable when people can trust it. Everything we do at US Global Standards Registrars starts from that idea.
Our Mission
To provide impartial, competent and transparent assessment that gives organizations, and the customers, regulators and communities who rely on them, justified confidence.
In practice, that means three commitments:
- Impartial: our decisions rest on objective evidence. Commercial pressure, relationships and the size of a contract play no part.
- Competent: every audit is carried out by people whose competence for that standard and sector has been evaluated.
- Transparent: our process, our rules and our complaints and appeals procedure are published, and every certificate we issue can be checked online.
Our Vision
To be the certification body organizations choose because our process is clear, our auditors add genuine insight, and our certificates hold up to scrutiny wherever they are presented.
We measure ourselves less by the number of certificates we issue than by how much those certificates are worth to the people who rely on them.
Our Values
| Value | What it means in our day-to-day work |
|---|---|
| Impartiality | We identify and manage threats to objectivity, and certification decisions are made by people who did not conduct the audit |
| Integrity | We report what we find, including findings our clients would rather not hear, clearly and respectfully |
| Competence | Auditors work only within technical areas where they have been evaluated, and are monitored through witnessed audits and file reviews |
| Transparency | Clients know every step, document and decision point before they start |
| Confidentiality | Information we see during audits is protected and used only for certification purposes |
| Responsiveness | Clients receive clear answers, realistic schedules and a named contact |
What This Means for Our Clients
You can expect a written proposal based on documented audit-time rules, an audit plan before every visit, findings tied to specific requirements with objective evidence, and a certification decision made independently of the people who sold or performed the audit.
You should not expect us to design your management system, promise a result or shorten an audit to win the work. Those would undermine the value of your certificate.
